Run to Lake Superior and the humble stream brookie becomes the coaster brook trout — chrome-bright, silvery, and bigger than its inland cousin — and Patrick Kelly Wise captures that lake-run shine in original watercolor, embroidered onto the front panel of this cap. The blank is a Port & Co brushed twill dad hat: 100% brushed cotton twill with a comfortable broken-in feel, an unstructured low-profile six-panel crown, and a pre-curved bill, finished with an adjustable back strap that fits most. Because the design begins as Patrick's own hand-painted piece rather than clip-art, it's something you simply won't find elsewhere, and every one supports an independent Michigan artist.
Will my embroidery match the mockup exactly?＋
The previews are digital mockups, so the finished embroidery won't be an exact match. Thread colors and texture will differ from what you see on screen, since stitched artwork reads differently than a digital image. We match Patrick's designs as closely as thread allows.

Every piece is custom-embroidered to order, so we don't accept returns or issue refunds unless the mistake is ours. If something is wrong with your order, email us right away and we will make it right.

Everything is made to order in 10 business days at our shop, then ships to you — you'll see the exact ship-by date at checkout.
Is the logo placement exactly what I see?＋
Yes — the preview is the production file. What you see on the garment is what gets printed, in the position and size shown.
What if I order the wrong size?＋
Because each piece is custom-decorated to order, we can't restock returns — double-check the size chart, and email us before your order goes to production if you need a change.
How should I wash it?＋
Turn it inside out, machine wash cold, hang dry or tumble low. The decoration is rated for years of washes when cared for this way.
